welcome to the craft of reading

Welcome, and congratulations on joining The Craft of Reading Series.

Consider this an investment in yourself. Making your reading more effective is a step toward increasing your overall intelligence.

In this program, you’ll learn exactly how I read so much.

I’ll share material that took me years to learn—the hard way. I’ll include the mistakes I made and how to avoid them and tactics that increased my results. I don’t see people talking much about effective reading and I think it’s important, now more than ever.

Now, let’s get started with the first lesson.

In this module, you’ll learn:

1. The difference between someone who knows how to read and someone who gets the most out of what they’re reading.
2. The core philosophies and approach you need to overcome the mental blocks to reading more effectively (even if you don’t read 50 books a year).
3. Why reading fewer books can be the best strategy and why reading books cover-to-cover is a waste of time.

Let’s get started.
